As the first bank to do so, Arbejdernes Landsbank is launching a free-of-charge loan for private customers to do home renovations to make the house more environmentally friendly. But how could this be communicated?
Joining the movement of sustainability and environmental care, this new product is right on the green agenda. Insights show that more than 70% of Danes want to be more sustainable, so it was important to focus on the benefits to both the customer and the planet – a personal purpose and a bigger purpose.
With social media content, we emphasized USPs in the simplest way, saying that Klimalån [Climate loan] is good for your finances, good for your home and good for the climate together with an ongoing visual of a house frame on grass. This was presented both online and as posters in the banks. The new climate-friendly product ‘Klimalån’ was now introduced to the people and AL took a green stand in the Danish banking market.
